Body Is Found Of Boy Shot While Hunting.  After twelve hours search the body of Clyde Redgate, 19, was found late yesterday in a grove northwest of the city, a shot gun wound in the chest.  With his father and an uncle the boy went crow hunting Saturday night. When he failed to join the others in a car at four o’clock Sunday morning, search was started. The sheriff asked for help later and approximately one hundred men joined the search. There was indication Redgate was shot while trying to prod a crow he had shot from a tree with the butt of the gun. A twig apparently tripped the hammer. The coroner held death was accidental.  The Evening Kansan-Republican, Newton Kansas. Monday, January 26, 1931. Page 1.
