Martin A Klabau, Jr

Martin married Minnie[KLEINKNECHT] in Newton,Kansas Nov,29,1899.Martin was an engineer for the Santa Fe Railroad on Jan,18,1907 the passenger train he was running[The California Limited] rear ended a stopped freight train 30 mile west of Hutchinson,Kansas. Martin and his fireman died in the wreck he left his wife and 6 mo. old son Theodore without a father.
