Grace Maude (Crofoot) Denno

Parents were George Crofoot and Rebecca Williams Crofoot. George died adt:1871 and Rebecca marries Charles Denno 1878 and the family including Maudes three sisters move to Kansas. Not sure why she carries the name Denno as Charles never adopted any of Rebecca's children from her first marriage. Even stanger is why he is listed as her father on her grave marker?


She marries L. C. Gibbens at Newton, Kansas, December 16, 1888, uses the maiden name of Crofoot on the marriage licence After her death L. C . Re-marries to a Nellie Rickets October 7, 1896. He is lost to history after that.
