Newton Kansan, Friday, September 6, 1996

She was a lifetime Newton resident and a 1936 graduate of Newton High School. She also attended Bethel College and graduated from Columbia International University in Columbia, S.C., in 1943. She was a retired clerical worker for the Wichita SRS. She was a member of the First Mennonite Church in Newton and Wichita Business and Professional Women. She was a weekday Bible School teacher, Newton Bible Conference Committee secretary and a member of the Dorcas Sunday School Class and Christian Women's club, of Newton.
