Delbert Joe Owens

SEDGWICK — Delbert Joe Owens, 82, a retired USD 439 high school teacher and coach, passed away on Tuesday (Sept. 7, 2010).

He is survived by daughters, Lori Bridges and Lisa (Mike) Myers, both of Wichita; grandchildren, John, Cody, Cortney and Connor; brother, Clarence (Ruby) Owens of Humbolt; and sister, Lucille Taylor of Wheaton, Mo.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Owens; and parents, Loren and Cordia Owens.

Services were Friday at Sedgwick Christian Church in Sedgwick. Burial followed at Hillside Cemetery.
