Monte Lagree and Marcy Jacobs of Newton were united in marriage during a private wedding ceremony July 12, 2007, at the Wedding Garden Chapel in Las Vegas.

The groom is the son of Virginia Lagree of Hutchinson and the late Bernal Lagree. The bride is the daughter of Karen Dennett of Newton and Delbert Buller of Enid, Okla.

The couple is having an informal wedding reception today at their home.

The bride is employed by the city of Newton, and the groom is employed by AGCO.
