Obituary

Pearl Deline Comte passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday morning (Jan. 2, 2011).

She was the last remaining sibling of her family of five. She has been living at Schowalter Villa in Hesston for the past several years due to health problems. Pearl was loved by all who knew her and will be deeply missed.

Pearl had eight children. Surviving children are Richard Beyard and Linda Faulkner of Oklahoma; Ronald Waller of New York; Lyle Comte of Utah; Cindy Roberts of Kansas; Irma Garcia of California; and Angel Swane of Nebraska. Pearl has 29 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her youngest son, Buford Comte, in May 2010.

The family is having a memorial gathering from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Burrton City Hall, 201 N. Burrton Ave. in Burrton. All memorials can be sent to the home of Jon and Cindy Roberts, 417 S. McPherson Ave., Burrton, KS 67020 or the Burrton City Hall in care of Jon Roberts.
