Lee Roy Grandon

The graveside service for LeeRoy "Roy" Grandon, 84, will be held Friday, Nov. 5, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Burrton Cemetery, Burrton. Rev Don Tines will officiate. The casket will be open at the cemetery from 10:30 a.m. until service time. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home, Enid Okla.

Roy was born Aug. 23, 1926, in Burrton, to Claude Wesley and Sarah Inez Hale Grandon and died Nov. 1, 2010, at St Mary's Regional Medical Center, Enid, Okla.

He married Lois Mae Johnson Jan. 27, 1951, in Burrton. He served in the US Army. In his early years he was a steel worker and he worked in Reno County on roads and bridges. He was a farmer until retirement. He was a member of the American Legion.

He is survived by his son, John Grandon of Ellinwood; daughter, Annetta Grandon Hoffmann of Highlands Ranch, Colo.; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruby Revak of Milsca, Minn., and Maryetta Kelly of Enid, Okla.; and brother, Harold Grandon, Burrton. He was preceded in death by his wife Lois; and brother, Paul Grandon.
