Nettie was born at Newton, Kansas, March 8, 1908 to Nataniel and Maggie Anderson. She was one of seven children. She attended Newton schools and would have graduated with the class of 1926 if she had lived.She had been ill and had went to Albuquerque, New Mexico in August 1925 hoping that her health would improve, she died August 21 in New Mexico. Although she had been sick for about one and half years, but she had remained cheerful and hopeful that she would recover.
