Moulds, Lottie

Mrs.Lottie Louise Kelly Moulds, wife of T. M. 1/C Kenneth R. moulds, and daughter of Frank Kelly former Harvey count under sheriff, now of Hutchinson, was instantly killed in a car crash at Huchinson, about 3:35 Sunday morning. Her husband is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Moulds of Newton. He is now somewhere in the Pacific theater of war, where he has been for two years.

According to reports gathered by Hutchnson police, Mrs. Moulds and Mrs. Fairy Alice Bursch, both telephone operators, attended by Ens. Marvin Verstegen, of the Hutchinson naval air base, had attended a dance down town, and then had driven to the Country club in Mrs. Bursch's car, she being at the wheel. Returning to the city, it was stated, she failed to make a turn successfully and the car overturned, rolling over several times in a distance of 270 feet into a ditch and back onto the the highway. Mrs. Mould's was partially thrown from the car. Mrs. Brusch was still unconscious at Grace hospital the last word heard here. Ens. Verstegen was able to give the police the story above before he also collapsed.

Mrs. Moulds is survived by her husband and their three year old daughter Anne. Other survivors are J. H. Kelly, grandfather of Newton; two sisters, Mrs. Betty Rooney, Fort Sill, and Mrs. Layna Mae Andrews and a brother Garold Kelly, Denver and two step-brothers Melvin L. Corley, Southwest Pacific, and Corp. H. Eugene Corley, Lincoln, Neb
