Cook, Bailey E



Bailey E. Cook, 3, died Wednesday (May 8, 2002) at Mercy Hospital in Moundridge. He was born March 17, 1999, to Bradley G. Cook and Christina M. Bell in Newton. They survive of Newton. He attended Newton Medical Center Day Care. He enjoyed going to the zoo, playing at the park and playing soccer. He loved Spiderman, Superman, Batman and watching the WWF. His favorite wrestler was Stone Cold Steve Austin. His favorite television show was Bear and the Big Blue House. Bailey loved his family and friends. Other survivors include: four aunts, Rebecca Ribble of Lincoln, Neb., and Crystal Bell, Sarah Bell and Nikki Bell, all of Newton; three uncles, Jason Cook of Kansas City, Mo., Aaron Cook of Newton and Jonathan Ribble of Lincoln; four cousins, Abigale Bell of Newton, Riley Cook of Wichita, and Dylan Ribble and Skyler Ribble, both of Lincoln; a maternal grandfather, Mark A. Bell of Newton; a maternal grandmother, Mary J Hodgkins of Newton; a paternal grandfather, Bruce L Cook of Newton; two maternal great-grandparents, Eldemira Pedrosa and Janice Lewis, both of Newton; and a step-grandfather, Edward A Hodgkins of Newton.
He was preceded in death by: a paternal grandmother, Carol Cook; and a maternal great-grandfather, Raymond Pedrosa.
Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Petersen Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday at Salem United Methodist Church with the Rev. Monty Fey officiating.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Memorials have been established with Newton Medical Center Day Care in care of the funeral home.
