Fredrick William Iserhardt, 67, retired Santa Fe employee, died Wednesday in Erkrath, Germany, where he had been visiting relatives.

Mr. Isherhardt, whose home was at 923 High, left Newton May 10 for Europe and planned to return home the latter part of September. News of his sudden death, apparently caused by a heart attack, was received by members of the family in a cablegram late yesterday.

Born Aug. 15, 1886 in Oberkassel, Germany, he was the son of Joseph and Mary Iserhardt. He was married in Erkrath, Nov. 7,1908 to Mary Nellissen, whose death occurred in 1933.

Mr. Iserhardt was affiliated with the Newton Masonic Lodge and a member of Arkansas Valley Chapter 27. R.A.M., the Newton Commandery of Knights Templar, Wichita Council of Royal and Select Masters and the Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include two daughters, Miss Paula Iserhardt of Newton and Mrs. Elmer Stahl of rural Sedgwick: two sons, Ernest of Newton and Ralph of rural Newton.

Mr. Iserhard's body will be flown to the Sates and arrive in Kansas City, probably later this week. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Draper's Funeral home.
