Eugene Edward Koehn

Eugene Edward Koehn, 82, died on Friday (Aug. 4, 2006) at Newton Presbyterian Manor.
He was born on Feb. 20, 1924, in McPherson to Abe and Minnie (Eck) Koehn.
On Sept. 21, 1946, he married Clara M. Janzen in Newton. She survives of the home.
He was a member of Bethel College Mennonite Church in North Newton. He retired from the heating, sheet metal and air conditioning business in the Newton area after 38 years.
Other survivors include two daughters, Sherri and Steve Kirk of Talking Rock, Ga., and Peggy and Jon Davis of Lenexa; two granddaughters, Ami and Kenny Jones of Apex, N.C., and Megan Davis of Fairway; a grandson, Scott Davis of Prairie Village; great-grandchildren, Tyson and Peyton Jones of Apex; and a sister, LaWanda Weins of Newton.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant grandchild.
The funeral service was Tuesday at Bethel College Mennonite Church with Pastors Norma Johnson and Heidi Regier Kreider officiating.
A graveside service and burial was Tuesday at Greenwood Cemetery in Newton.
Memorials have been established with Bethel College Mennonite Church and Newton Presbyterian Manor, in care of Petersen Funeral Home.
