Claud L Hand

Claud L. Hand was born February 18, 1901 in Harvey County, Kansas, the eldest son of Roy Z. and Stella Hand, and departed this life on February 27, 1965 at Halstead, Kansas.

He spent the first 50 years of his life in the Bentley community and for the last 15 years made his home in Grant County, Kansas.

On December 21, 1922 he married Edna Ramsey and to this union was born: Mrs. Robert Dosien of Corona, California; Mrs. Henry Ruppel of Idaho Falls, Idaho; Max L. Hand of Santa Paula, California.

He leaves to ourn his passing his mother, Mrs. Stella Hand of the home in Halstead and in addition to his wife and children, sister, Ms. Lloyd Miller of Anthony, Kansas; one brother, Walter Hand of Mulvane, Kansas and 13 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held from the First Methodist Church with James L. Andrews officiating. Burial was in the Halstead cemetery.
