Obituary

Services for Adina E. Friesen, 81, 507 West 7th, who died Friday, Jan 31, 1975 at Bethel Deaconess Hospital will be Tuesday in the First Mennonite Church of which she was a member. Dr. Albert H. Epp will officate and burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

She was born January 13, 1894 at rural Moundridge, daughter of Jacob S. and Susanne Wedel Schmidt. She married David F. Friesen November 11, 1914 at Burrton. He survives of the home where they had resided since 1944.

Other survivors: two sons, Donavon, Pico Rieria, California; Delbert, Pocatello, Idaho; four daughters,, Mrs. Dan (Erlene) Borth, McPherson; Mrs. John (Lucille) McVey, Novato, California; Mrs. Vernon (Phyllis) Johnson, Pico Rivera and Mrs. John (Shirley) Bannon, Richardson, Texas; one brother, Simon Schmidt, Levy, New Mexico; one sister, Mrs. Selma Base, Newton; 19 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
