Obituary

Mildred M. Consieine, 82, Halstead, died June 23, 1991 at Halstead Hospital. She was born May 8, 1909 at Halstead, the daughter of Abe and Georgia Alwilda Steele Unruh. A lifetime Halstead resident, she was a homemaker. She married John W. Considine at Wichita on October 20, 1926, He survives.

She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Altar Society and the American Legion Auxiliary all of Halstead.

Other survivors: three sons, Robert J. Considine and William L. Consisine, both of Halstead and Dean Considine, Middletown, Maryland; two daughters, Marie McGinn, Sedgwick and Margaret Bergkamp, Halstead; three brothers, Herb Unruh, Halstead; Homer Unruh, Grove, Oklahoma and Gene Unruh, Mountain Air, New Mexico; sister, Marjorie Stucky, Halstead; 17 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Harold Unruh.

The Rosary was held Thursday evening at the church with the Funeral Mass on Friday morning, also at the church, conducted by the Rev. James Eatoough. Burial was in the Halstead Cemetery.
