Ruth M. Edwards

Ruth M. Edwards, 63, Newton, died Friday, September 24, 1993 at her home. She was born February 10, 1930 at Halstead, the daughter of Clarence and Leeta Samuel Stewart. A longtime Newton resident, she was a 1948 graduate of Newton High School. She was a homemaker. She was a membmer of the First United Presbyterian Church of Newton.

She married Richard D. Edwards on June 3, 1951 at Newton. He preceded her in death on July 17, 1988.

Survivors: son, Richard Edwards, Riverside, California; daughter, Barbara Edwards, Newton; her mother of Newton and two grandchildren.

Graveside Service was Monday, September 17 at Greenwood Cemetery in Newton. A memorial has been established with the Central Homecare and Hospice Inc.
