Hulda Enns Penner

Hulda Enns Penner, 85, Newton, sister to Walter Enns of Burrton, died Friday, June 10, 1994 at Halstead Hospital. She was born in Harvey County, Kansas, the daughter of C. C. and Helena Toevs Enns. A lifetime Harvey County resident, she was a homemaker and a retired employee of Bethel Hospital, having worked in Housekeeping and the kitchen. She was a member of the First Mennonite Church, Newton.

On August 16, 1936, she married Samuel S. Penner at Newton. He died November 10, 1983. Other survivors: son, Richard Penner, Manhattan; two daughters, Ellen Ebersole, Wichita; and Lucille Maust, Ontario, California and a sister, Elma Dickson, Rose Hill.

Services were held Monday, June 13 at First Mennonite Church, Newton. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery, Newton.
