Rosa Lee Wells, Hutchinson, former Burrton resident, died March 20, 2005 at Harry Hynes Hospice, Wichita. She was born October 11, 1915 at Burrton, daughter of Larence E. and Nellie Womack Hensley.

She was a graduate of Burrton High School and Adele Hale Business School in Hutchinson.

A resident of Hutchinson since 1934, she was a secretary of Safeway for 10 years and secretary for the Wiley School before retiring in 1974. She was a nurse's aid during World War II, a volunteer at the Hutchinson Public Library and a member of the Good Sam Camping Club and she was active in Girl Scouts.

She married Laurence B. Havely in 1932. She married Cecil M. Wells on June 4, 1960 at Hutchinson. He died in 1984.

Survivors: two daughters, Rosetta Havely and Sharon Mallory, Wichita; stepdaughter, June Brown, Rock Port, Tennessee; 2 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; one great grandchild and 4 step great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Bryan Hensley and three sisters, Virginia Boyce, Violet Rhorer and Geneva Carter.

Graveside services were held March 25 at Burrton Cemetery with Pastor Wayne Pittman presiding.
