Frances (Cron) Arrowsmith

Frances C. Arrowsmith, 86, died Sunday, Julyy 26, 2009 at Memorial Home in Moundridge. She was born November 16, 1922 at Chillicothe, Texas to Alexander and Bessie Nicolet Cron.

On December 16, 1947, she married Irl Arrowsmith, Jr. at Alamo, Texas. He survives of Moundridge. She was a resident of Halstead since 176, moving from Fairfax, Virginia where she was a statistical assistant for the USDA.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church and former president of UMW, both of Halstead.

Other survivors: sister, Marie Wallace, Culpepper, Virginia. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Lawrence and Ralph Conn.

Services will be Friday, July 31 at the Church with Rev. Jenifer Whitt presiding. Buriaal will follow in the Halstead Cemetery.
