Dale Robert Bockhaus

Dale R. Bockhaus, 54, former ACH Foam employee, died Thursday, October 1, 2009 at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in Wichita. He was born August 27, 1955 at Halstead to Arthur W. and Theresea R. Dumais Bockhaus. Arthur preceded him in death October 15, 1998. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Halstead.

On May 24, 2003, he married Sylvia "Susie" Porter at Halstead, she survives of Mt. Hope, Kansas.

Other survivors: daughter, Stacy Skinner, Carl Junction, Missouri; step-son, Eric Reed, Joplin, Missouri; stepdaughter, Sarah Reed, Baxter Spriings; mother, Halstead; brother, Steve Bockhaus, Newton; sisters, Rose MacDonald, Greensboro, North Carolina; Mary Wilson, Halstead and Karen Feguson, Hutchinson; one grandchild and 8 step grandchildren.

Rosary was held on October 4 at the church. Mass of the Christian Burial was October 5 at the church, Father Steve Baxter presiding. Burial followed at Halstead Cemetery.
