Obituary

Lou Ann Corcoran, 54, died Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at her residence. She was born July 14, 1955 at Newton to Bart J. and Betty Lou Crandall Schownecker and was a lifelong area resident.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Cchurch, Halstead and was a clerk for the Reno County Landfill.

On October 24, 1991 she married Shaun A. Corcoran at Hutchinson. He survives. Other survivors: step-sons, Patrick Corcoran, Chicago, Illinois and Conor Corcoran, Fort Collins, Coloaado; father, Bart Schoenecker, Sedgwick; brother and sister-in-law, Eric Schoenecker and Karen Price, Wichita and one step-grandchild.

Services were held October 31 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Halstead. Cremation has taken place. Inurnment will be in the Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick.
