Frances Louise Koehn, 75, was born in Oklahoma on December 16, 1931 and passed away on January 7, 2007 at Burrton after a struggle with cancer.
She is prececed in death by her mother, Myra Lawane Gibson Winters and her father, Henry Warner Winters. Frances's parents were married on January 25, 1909.
Little is known about the family other than Frances' step greatgrandmother's first name was Maude and her great-great grandmother was Caroline L. Winters.
Frances was preceded in death by her siblings, Albert Henry Winters; Chester Raymond Winters, Austin Leo Winters; Harold Dee Winters; Donald Cedrac Winters; Lila Fae Winters; She is survived by one sister, Margaret Marie Winters Hall in Enid, Oklahoma.
Frances married Leland Lloyd Koehn of Halstead, Kansas on September 21, 1950. He passed away in October of 1987. They had four children; Terril Koehn of Topeka; Dawn Koehn Yonally of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Kelly Koehn recently deceased of Los Angeles, and Wade Koehn of Boutte, Louisiana.
Frances was a registered nurse, trained at Halstead School of Nursing, worked at the Halstead Hospital and Bethel Deaconess Hospital in Newton.
Cremation has taken place. Place of inurnment is unknown.
