   Norma "June" Barham, 63, died Monday, September 23, 2013 at Asbury Park in Newton.  She was born June 5, 1950 in Delano, California to Fletcheer and Melba McMahan Aubrey.  On April 12, 1985 she married Ken Barham in Newton and he survives of the home.

   June grew up in Delano, California, where her father farmed on fruit and nut farms.  She moved to Guthrie, Oklahoma where she met here future husband, Ken.  They settled in Newton where June worked as a CNA for Kansas Christian Home for 20 years.  Prior to her retirement due to health issues, she worked for Health Aide.

  June loved here grandkids and helping the elderly.  She was always joking around and loved to be the life of the party.  She enjoyed watching Jeopardy, old Hollywsood films and doing crossword puzzles.  She was known for being kind-hearted a great mom, wife and homemaker.  She looked forward to Halloween time when she made a haunted cemetery for the neighborhood kids and relatives alike.  She also enjoyed hosting a yearly Fourth of July party and barbecue.

   Survivors: husband, Ken of the home; sons, Ricky  Aubrey of California and Damon Barham of Newton; her siblings, Lawana, Donna, Larry and Allen, all of California; her in-laws, Laura and Toby Harrison, Arlen and Lisa Baraham, Jan and Dave Hennes and her mother-in-law, Ardis Bachus.  She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her daughters, Carrie Clark and Jennifer Barham; sister, Peggy and parents.

  Services were held September 26 in Petersen Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery.
