Olive V. Richardson

Olive V. Richardson, 98, of Newton died Friday (March 10, 2000) at Newton Medical Center.

She was born Feb. 13, 1902, in Scott City to Francis and Lillian (Wheeler) Ray. In June 1921, she married B.H. Rea. He died in April 1974. She then married Sam C. Richardson July 16, 1987. He survives. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Newton and moved to Newton in 1976 from Wichita.

Other survivors include a brother, Marion Ray of Newton; several nieces and nephews; and a sister, Essie Sullivan of Wichita.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Salem United Methodist Church with the Rev. C. Kent Rogers of Salem United Methodist Church officiating.

Burial will be in White Chapel Cemetery in Wichita.

Visitation is set for 1 to 5 p.m. today and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Petersen Funeral Home.

Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at White Chapel Cemetery, 1824 N. Oliver in Wichita.

Memorials are with the donor's choice in care of the funeral home.
