Newtonian Arrested on DUI Charge

Ellsworth Sharbonno, 58, of 220 East 2nd, pleaded not guilty at his arraignment in city police court today and is being held on $200 bond.  Trial was set for August 27.

Sharbonno was arrested at 12:28 a.m. today, about one mile west of Meridian Road.  He was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor.
