A Friday evening wreck in Pratt County killed a Beaver, Okla., woman and sent three other individuals to the hospital.

Marla Frazer, of Beaver, was pronounced dead the Moundridge Police Department at 12:24 early Saturday morning. Frazer was a passenger in a 2006 Chevrolet van that was hit when another driver failed to yield at a stop sign just north of Pratt.

According to a report from the Kansas Highway Patrol, the accident occurred on Kansas Highway 61 eight-and-a-half miles north of Pratt at 8:12 p.m. Friday.

Tha van, driven a 16-year-old male from Beaver, was northeast on K61, the KHP report noted. Drew Allen Haerle, 27, of Preston, was driving a 2004 Ford pickup northbound on NE 60th Street. The pickup failed to yield at the stop sign, entered K61 and hit the right front of the van with the front center of his Ford. The report added both vehicles came to rest in the center of the roadway.

Hearle was transported to Pratt Regional Medical Center.

Another passenger in the van, Clarence Frazer, 45, also of Beaver, along with the 16-year-old driver, were transported to St. Francis Hospital in Wichita.

Hearle and the deceased were not wearing safety restraints, according to the report, but Clarence Frazer, as well as the 16-year-old, were wearing seatbelts.
