Obituary
GOESSEL - Marna Sara Voth Abrahams, 91, passed away Sept.
16, 2013, in the presence of family.
She was born Jan. 8, 1922, in Goessel, the daughter of Henry
F. and Elizabeth Schmidt Voth. She was a homemaker. Marna married Willis
"Bill" Abrahams on Oct. 14, 1941, at Tabor Mennonite Church, rural
Newton. He passed away on Oct. 30, 2005.
She was a lifelong member of Tabor Mennonite Church.
She is survived by three sons, Russ and wife, Barb of
Goessel, Rod and wife, Ilona of Goessel, Ryan and wife, Daria of Kintnersville,
Pa.; daughters, Marnette and husband, Ronald Hatchett of rural Newton, Carol Abrahams
and husband, Terry Holtz of Goessel; brother, Ernie Voth of Buffalo Mills, Pa.;
sisters, Lila Harris of Goessel and Norma Martinez of Goessel; eight
grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill; and
brother, Alfred Voth.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held
on Saturday, Sept. 28, at 5:30 p.m. in the Tabor Mennonite Church Fellowship
Hall with Pastor Phil Schmidt officiating. Family inurnment will take place in
the Tabor Mennonite Church Cemetery.
