Lovetta Fern Keeler
MOUNDRIDGE -- Lovetta Fern Keeler, 86, died Tuesday (May 6, 1997) at Newton Medical Center.
She was born on February 1911 in Canton to Charles L. and Mildred F. Holdeman. She married Franklin Keeler on May 16, 1931, in Hutchinson. He died Feb. 7, 1996.
She was a  member of the Garden Mennonite Church in rural Moundridge. She was a homemaker and was employed for many years at Beech Aircraft in Wichita. She lived in Rose Hill for 45 years and moved to Moundridge in 1985.
Survivors include one son, Renyold 'Bic' Keeler of Lake Oswego, Ore.; two daughters, Donna Warner of Stanton, Calif., and Cecelia Young of Newton; one sister, Shirley Stewart of Snyder, Texas; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by two brothers, Don Holdeman and Forest Holdeman.
Funeral services will be at 10 a. m. Saturday at Garden Mennonite Church with the Revs. David Norris and Ray Young officiating. Graveside service and burial will be at 2 p. m. Saturday at Rose Hill Friends Cemetery in Rose Hill. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p. m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home in Hesston.
Memorials has been established for the Alzheimer's Association in care of the funeral home.
