In The Hospital

The Evening Kansan-Republican

Word was received from Halstead this forenoon that Lot Cheatum, an undertaker and son of a furniture dealer there, was sick in the hospital with blood poisoning and was not expected to survive throughout the day.  He is supposed to have contracted the blood poisoning in January while embalming a body.  The Evening Kansan-Republican, Newton, Kansas.  April 14, 1909.  Page 5.
