Kenneth W. Steider, 85, of Hesston died on Thursday (Sept. 15, 2011) in Hesston.

The funeral service and burial were on Monday at Salem Mennonite Church in Shickley, Neb. A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 7 at the Schowalter Villa Chapel in Hesston.

The Kenneth Steider Memorial Scholarship has been created to recognize the many years Kenneth served in education and health care while living in Taiwan.
