Carol K. Beaushaw
Carol K. Beaushaw, 58, died at her residence on Saturday
(March 27, 2010). She was born on July 7, 1951, in Wichita.
Her parents were Adolph and Ruth Schmidt, whom preceded her
in death.
She married Vaughn "Butch" Beaushaw on May 25,
1991, in Peabody. He survives in the home.
Carol was a retired dietary aid. She worked at the Peabody
Nursing Home and Presbyterian Manor in Newton.
Carol was of Native American descent from the Cherokee
Nation. She was an excellent pianist, enjoyed shopping and loved cats. She had
a deep love for her family and friends and will be remembered by them as a
sweet, good-hearted person.
She is survived by her husband, Butch Beaushaw; son, Michael
and Vickie Savage of McPherson; Cherie and Doug Hett of Marion; Charlie and Amy
Savage of Leon; eight grandchildren; and varied uncles, aunts and cousins.
Funeral services will be 9 a.m. Friday at Petersen Funeral
Home in Newton. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, with the
family receiving friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Burial will follow the service at
Greenwood Cemetery. Chaplain Denny Bell will officiate the services.
