Veda Mae Balzer
Veda Mae Balzer, 80, passed away on Wednesday (Nov. 24,
2010) at Wheat State Manor in Whitewater.
She was born on July 22, 1930, in rural Butler County, the
daughter of Rueben and Edith (Taylor) Moore.
She was united in marriage to Howard M. Balzer on Dec. 29,
1950. She was a homemaker and co-owner of Balzer Trucking.
She is lovingly survived by her daughters, LaVonne (Charlie)
Baker of Potwin, JoAnn "Jo" (David) Denny of Potwin, and Sarah Balzer
of Wichita; and twin sons, Milton (Jenny) Balzer of Wichita; and Morey (Lori)
Balzer of Belle Plaine; siblings, Lloyd Moore of Augusta and Ruth Turner of
Bonita Springs, Fla; and 12 grandchildren.
She was preceded by husband, Howard; and siblings, Violet
Tallman, Opal Harlan, and Bill, Glenn and Alva Moore.
Visitation with family will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at
Lamb Funeral Home, Whitewater.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Potwin Christian
Church.
Interment will be in McGill Cemetery in Potwin.
