Obituary

Glenn A. Yoder, 66, passed away on Friday (Jan. 26, 2018). He was born on Feb. 22, 1951, in Newton to Fred and Colleen (Regier) Yoder.

Glenn loved to be outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman, along with being a jack of all trades. He would also always have a few head around the farm to keep him occupied.

Glenn also had another passion in his life and that was helping his community by being a volunteer firefighter for the Peabody Volunteer Fire Department for 20-plus years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Colleen Yoder.

He is survived by his wife, Koni; two sisters, Tammie (Butch) Suffield of Peabody and Teresa Maples of Valley Center; sons: Jeremy (Bobbi) Yoder of Elgin Oklahoma, and Eric (Kim) Yoder of Great Bend; and two stepdaughters, Heather (Mike) LaRue of El Dorado and Ashley Miller of Peabody. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Saturday (Feb. 3, 2018) at Prairie Lawn Cemetery, Peabody. In lieu of flowers, all memorials will be given to the Peabody Fire Department to upgrade equipment.
