Lois V (Simpson) Strout

Lois Strout died January 9, 2003, in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.

Lois was born in King, Arkansas, on February 7, 1913, the daughter of Robert E. Lee Simpson and Sarah Emmaline (Stevens) Simpson.  She was a lifelong wife, homemaker, and mother, and she enjoyed quilting and sewing.

Lois was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Leroy Strout; one son, Edward Lee Strout; three daughters, Betty L. Klassen, Della M. Cleous, and Carolyn L. Smith; and two sisters, Florence Burris and Eva Hendrix. The McCurtain Daily Gazette.  Friday, January 12, 2003.
