Lemuel Strubhar: Hesston man
dies in motorcycle crash
A Hesston man is dead after
his motorcycle collided with a car at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday on Old Highway 81.
Lemuel Strubhar, 20, of
Hesston was pronounced dead after his 2003 Suzuki collided with a 1997 Buick
driven by Titus Jost, 91, of North Newton.
According to a report filed
by the Kansas Highway Patrol, Strubhar was northbound on Old 81 when Jost
pulled up and stopped at a stop sign on north Anderson Street. Jost failed to
yield right of way to the motorcycle, which struck the car on the driver's side
of the vehicle.
Jost was not injured in the
accident.
