Wilma 'Lucile' Adamek

Wilma 'Lucile' Adamek, 94, retired inspector/assembler for Beech and Edo Aircraft, died Wednesday (Jan. 7, 2009) at Halstead Health and Rehabilitation in Halstead. She was born Nov. 25, 1914, in Milan to Charlie and Gennie (Paisley) Ammann. On May 8, 1943, she married Edward Adamek in Wichita. He died March 15, 1985. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Wichita. Survivors include a son, Bruce (Connie) Adamek, and a grandson, Mathew, all of Bentley. She was preceded in death by sons, Terry and Charles Adamek, and a brother, Leon Ammann.

Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Kaufman Funeral Home in Halstead. The family will be present from 3 to 5 p.m. to greet friends.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with Pastor Brad Martin presiding.

Burial will follow at Wichita Park Cemetery in Wichita.

Memorials may be given to the Midwest Hemophillia Association in care of the funeral home.
