OBITUARY: RAYMOND A. ALBERT
HALSTEAD—Raymond A. Albert, 79, died,
Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2018, at his residence.
He was born January 12, 1939, in
Madawaska, Maine to Renee’ and Regina (Marquis) Albert.
He was a Halstead resident for the last
18 years, and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the
Knights of Columbus.
During his time in Halstead, he owned
and operated the Blue Frog Bistro, volunteered and helped many. He
was awarded the 2012 Old Settlers Good Neighbor Award in recognition
of his volunteerism. He was a lover of life and a lover of people.
He served his country in the U.S. Air
Force.
On May 10, 1969, he married Tessa
Johanson in Colorado Springs, Colo., and she survives of the home.
Other survivors include sons: Marco
(Diane) and Mathieu Albert, Wichita: daughters Francine Albert,
Bremerton, Wash., and Anna (Troy) Harter, Wichita; brother Tom
(Diane) Albert, Cyn County, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and five
great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother,
Michael Albert.
The Rosary will be said at 7 p.m.
Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2018, and the Mass of the Christian Burial will be
at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, both at Sacred Heart Catholic Church,
Halstead.
Father Jeffery Fasching will preside.
Burial will follow at Halstead Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to Knights of
Columbus in care of Kaufman Funeral Home.
