Obituary
Leroy K. Franz, 87, died Monday (April
22, 2019) at Bethesda Home, Goessel. He was born October 31, 1931, in
Hutchinson, the son of John J. and Sara Siemens Franz. He was a
member of the Buhler Mennonite Church, an associate member of the
Bethel College Mennonite Church, North Newton, and was an original
student of the Northview Opportunity School, Newton.
Survivors include a sister, Eldine
Franz (Paul) Harder, North Newton; six nieces and nephews, Gregory
Franz, Cory Franz-Eby, Gayle Franz, Susan Heller, Dr. Scott Harder,
and Kay Dalke; and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his
parents; a brother, Delton Franz; and a nephew, Timothy Harder.
Funeral services will be held at 11
a.m. Thursday (April 25, 2019) at the Bethesda Home Chapel, Goessel.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the Bethesda Home
Chapel. Burial will take place at 2 p.m. Thursday (April 25, 2019) at
Buhler Municipal Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to
Bethesda Home, in care of Buhler Mortuary.
