George Randall White

George Randall White was born in Evansville Indiana, May 12, 1864 and departed this life March 11, 1923, aged 58 years and 10 months. Came to Burrton, Kansas with his parents in 1876 and had resided here ever since that time. He was married to Miss Ida Garber Feb. 17, 1891. To this union five children were born, Mrs. Nettie Prickett, now deceased. Homer White of Sylvia, Kansas, Earl White, Mrs. Dollie Frederick, and Mrs. Zelma Gordon of Burrton. The four latter are left to mourn his departure. There are seven grandchildren and three brothers; Charles White of Wichita, William and Edward White of Cleveland, Okla., and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted at the First Christian Church Tuesday at 2:30 p. m. Rev. F. E. Meaders, pastor, officiating., after which the remains were interred in Burrton cemetery. The family have the sympathy of many friends in their bereavement. "Father is gone -- but not forgotten".
