Willard W. 'Bill' Albrecht

MOUNDRIDGE – Willard W. 'Bill' Albrecht, 78, farmer and custom harvester, died Saturday (Oct. 18, 1997) at Columbia Halstead Hospital.

He was born May 30, 1919, in Kingman County to Gideon and Pauline Albrecht. He married Bertha Stucky Aug. 21, 1940, in Moundridge. She survives of Moundridge.

She [He] moved from Kingman to Moundridge and has been a resident for 54 years. She [He] was a member of the Eden Mennonite Church of rural Moundridge.

Other survivors include: one son, Keith Albrecht of Moundridge; three daughters, Marilyn Decker of Newton, and Shery Kessler and Becky Koller, both of Moundridge; one brother, Ralph Albrecht of Kingman; three sisters, Opal Kaufman of Newton, and Selma Flickner and Tillie Holladay, both of Kingman; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two infant children, four brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be at 3:30 p. m. Tuesday at Eden Mennonite Church with Pastors Lee Lever and Donovan Graber officiating. Burial will be in the Eden Church Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p. m. today at Harder-Kaufman Funeral Home in Moundridge.

Memorials have been established with the Eden Mennonite Church of the Memorial Home, in care of the funeral home.
