Manuel Gonzalez, 83, former Newton resident, died Sunday (Feb. 12, 2006) in Albuquerque, N.M. Survivors include: his daughters and son-in-laws, Linda Grace and Michael Ulibarri, Mary Esther and Anthony Alderete, and son Michael, all of Albuquerque; brothers, John of Hillsboro, Roman of Walton and Fred of Newton; a sister, Jennie Sanchez of Derby; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: his wife Esther; and parents, Eleodoro and Herlinda Gonzalez.

Services will be Friday in Albuquerque.
