Thomas W. Boggs, 76, died Saturday (Dec. 31, 2005) at his home in Apache
Junction, Ariz. He was born Feb. 11, 1929, to John Thomas and Esther Boggs in
Oelwein, Iowa. He married Barbara Brown July 14, 1951. They made their home in
Cedar Falls, Iowa, and Hesston before moving to Apache Junction after retiring.
Survivors include: his wife of the home; daughters, Ruth Lies and husband David
of Albert and Kim Lally and husband Mike of Newton; a son-in-law, James Schares
of Mesa, Ariz; a brother, David Boggs and wife Darlene of Spring, Texas; and 10
grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by:
his parents; a son, Stephen Thomas; and a daughter, Debbie Schares.
Memorial service will be Jan.
21, 2006, in Apache Junction.
Burial will be in Greenwood
Cemetery in Cedar Falls at a later date.
