Goessel - Harold Wayne Unruh, 82, passed away May 27, 2021 at Newton Medical Center. He was born January 14, 1939 in Goessel to Jacob and Hanna (Wedel) Unruh. He married Joyce Duerksen August 23, 1959 at Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church rural Goessel. Survivors include: wife: Joyce Unruh of Goessel; sons, Jeff (Barb) Unruh of Walton, Mike (Jodi) Unruh of Goessel; sister, Eleanora Goertzen of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; 4 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Celebration of Life Service 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Goessel Church in Goessel officiated by Pastor Brad Penner. Committal service 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Goessel Church cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Church.
