Marie G (Padilla) Durgin

Marie G. Durgin, 57, a beautiful and beloved daughter,
mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt, passed away May 20, 2010, in Phoenix, where a private memorial was conducted. She was born in San Bernardino Calif., and moved to Newton in 1990.

She was a dietary aide at Asbury Park, where she loved helping people. Anyone who knew her also loved being around her. She had the biggest heart that touched so many lives and never realized how much she was loved by so many. I never heard her once complain about her illness,
only making sure her family was well. She always left everything in God’s hands, and, in the end, we all know he welcomed her with open arms. She was a blessing to us, and we will always keep her close to our hearts.

She is survived by her son, Daniel Durgin Jr.; daughters, Mary Falcon and Theresa Quinones; son-in-law, Rudy Quinones, and daughter-in-law, Lorraine Durgin; grandchildren, Stephanie Garcia, Meghan Garcia,
Teresa Durgin, Daniel Durgin III, AnMarie Durgin, Joseph Durgin, David Durgin, Israel Durgin, Danyella Durgin, Isaiah Durgin, Gabriella Quinones and Rudy Quinones Jr.; mother, Eleanor Mosqueda; sisters, Eleanor Padilla, Emily Gomez and Darlene Mosqueda; brothers, Frank Padilla Jr., Joe Padilla, Mike Mosqueda, Eddy Adame and Paul Mosqueda;
and great-grandchildren; Angel Hernandez, Makayla Hernandez and Marcelo Hernandez. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Padilla; sister, Dolores Padilla; grandson, Joseph Arreguin; and great-grandson,
Christian Hernandez.

You were and always will be the most precious gift from God, and, as long as our hearts beat, we know your love is with us.
