Frank S. Hupp, a native resident of Harvey county and a prominent farmer and stockman, died suddenly this morning about seven o'clock at Bethel Deaconess hospital following a brief illness. He was 73 years old.

Mr. Hupp was rushed to the hospital by automobile from his farm after being stricken with a heart ailment and lived only 30 minutes.

A son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Hupp, Mr. Hupp was born April 6, 1875 on a farm, three miles west and a half mile south of Newton, which his parents homesteaded (This home still stands today 2010) He has been living on the original Hupp farm with his sister Katherine, since the death of his wife several years ago in an automobile accident.

Mr. Hupp spent his entire life in Harvey county and was widely known in this area as a successful cattle raiser and farmer.

Survivors include a brother, Walter Hupp, who lives on an adjoining farm, and four sisters, Mrs. Fred Dillman, Mrs. Fred Prouty and Miss Katherine Hupp of rural Newton, and Mrs. Walter Parrott of Wichita
