Fluck, Victoria

History

Victoria came to Illinois with her parents at the age of four years. She married John [Fluke] Fluck June 17, 1868. In 1876 they moved to a homestead south of Halstead, where they lived for a number of years later moving east of Newton which remained their home for thirty years. They were real pioneers, experiencing all the hardships of droughts, grasshoppers, and living on the open range where the buffalo roamed.

Children: They had twelve, one died in infancy
