Overland Park-- Dora E. Lukenbill Andres, 89, died Tuesday (March 28, 2006) at Garden Terrace in Overland park.

She was born Dec. 25, 1916, to James and Bessie (Maguire) Dozier in Frontenac. They preceded her in death. She married Clifford Lukenbill, and he preceded her in death in 1968. She married Orlando L. Andres in May 1990. He preceded her in death in 1993.

Dora was a retired staff manager for Southwestern Bell Telephone and was a member of First Church of the Nazarene on Wichita. She was also a member of the Business and Professional Women,s Association, where she served as an officer. She attended Fort Scott Community College and the former Bethany Penil College, now Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, Okla. Dora was a wonderful Christian woman who had a sweet smile for everyone.


Survivors include: a stepson, Lawrence G. Andres of Bellingham, Wash.; a stepdaughter, Joan Corey of Brazil, Ind.; many step-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She also was preceded in death by: a sister, Audrey Carroll; and a brother, Elmer Dozier.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Greenwood Cemetery with Pastor John Crowder of Antioch Church of the Nazarene officiating.
