Foster, Anna

History

Moved with her parents Plainville,Ill., when she was a very small girl. At the age of eight years she was converted and joined the Methodist Episcopal church, which she was a devoted member until her death. When she was 16 years old both of her parents died within on week of each other. October 14, 1869 she married Samuel B. Foster at Quincy, Ill. Three sons, one of whom died in infancy L. C. Foster and E. K. Foster. She and her husband came to Kansas in 1882 and in 1891 they moved to Newton.
