History

The following was written by Chester's children upon his death.

In Loving Memory Of Our Father

Chester Werner was a born of the land. His grandparents were pioneers who cleared the land; planted and harvested and lived from the soil.
His roots and character were formed from these values. He appreciated the sight of growing things, especially of harvest time, he knew and understood the beauty of nature.
He loved life and was filled with humor, he enjoyed the company of people. his keen sense of humor lasted him to the end of his life.
He was a good man who suffered hardships and disappointments, but who never lost his kindness and honesty. He was born---lived--- and will rest in the land of his people.
He will be missed by those who love him. But we give him back to the land, he loved.

Harken;Behold, there went out a sower to sow:
And it came to pass, as he sowed, some fell by
the way side, and the fowls of the air came and
devoured it up.
And some fell on the stony ground, where it had not
much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because
it had no depth of earth:
But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because
it had no root, it withered away.
And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up,
and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.
And other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit
that sprang up and increased; and brought forth,
some thirty, and some sixty, and some an hundred.
